Life begins at Rose Villa

Rose Villa residents are doers by nature. And that doesn’t stop once they get here. (That’s not to say it’s all go-go-go around here. We love to relax, take a break and enjoy downtime together. We also value privacy and quiet solitude, too.)

The point is, you’ll find balance here. A holistic approach to life. Opportunities and choices—on campus, and off. No fears that you can’t keep up—or that you’ll be sitting around in retirement. You set your pace. You decide for yourself. You are in charge.

The time is now to say yes to your best life!

At Rose Villa, sustainability and social responsibility are more than a trendy selling point. Quite simply, they are practices that are the right thing to do – for our residents, our staff and our world.Clackamas County gold level award small.jpg

Rose Villa works to foster a sustainable environment and culture that treads lightly on the earth, starting with our corner of it. Some of our community initiatives include:
  • Our two-acre, resident-run, Community Garden, providing fresh produce to our food and beverage departments and for your own personal use
  • Our commitment to Buy Local: Rose Villa’s food and beverage department proudly sources organic produce and products from local farms
  • Our comprehensive campus-wide composting and recycling programs
  • Our new Main Street incorporates renewable materials, including energy-efficient, environmentally-conscious construction
  • We donate still-usable cabinets, appliances and salvaged building materials from our Classic Cottage home renovations to the Portland Habitat for Humanity ReStore, which helped them raise more than $23,000 in 2014
  • Our Residents Council’s dynamic “Bringing Nature Home” club is committed to practicing “naturescaping” as an essential part of creating livable communities that are built on healthy environments, utilizing native plants and low-impact foliage in our campus landscape
At Rose Villa, we strive to incorporate ecologically sound and socially responsible practices into everything we do. We are committed to maintaining a sustainable community for everyone who lives, works and visits here! If you have other ideas about how to create a sustainable, low-impact footprint, we welcome your input.
