Rose Villa Director of Dining Services Kay GirsbergerRose Villa is dedicated to healthy stewardship – of our environment, of our community, of our individual health.  In Dining Services, I am happy to be moving forward with another Rose Villa first -  “Real Food.”  Building on the success and commitment we all have toward our own Farmer’s Market, we are working to create a network of local, family-owned farms to supply ever bigger percentages of the food we eat.  We constantly look for new recipes to try, menus to plan, parties to host that feature wonderful, fresh ingredients for our own Northwest back yard.  I love to get suggestions and ideas from residents, staff, families – really, anyone who loves to eat!

Aaron Guerra

Aaron Guerra is a Certified Executive Chef who graduated the Le Cordon Bleu program in 2001 and began working at Western Culinary Institute in 2002. Prior to his culinary education, Aaron worked for the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento, California for six years, during which time he worked with celebrity Chef Martin Yan on 63 shows on Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Thailand. Aaron took over as Executive Chef for The Restaurant at the Historic Reserve, in Vancouver Washington in 2004 and during his time at the restaurant helped implement and establish the Northwest Culinary Institute (NCI) in the historic area of Vancouver Washington.

Aaron is currently the Secretary of the American Culinary Federation’s Chefs de Cuisine Society of Oregon (CCSO), which is dedicated to the advancement of the culinary industry, its rich history, and the preservation of professionalism among its peers.
