Rose Villa is dedicated to healthy stewardship – of our environment, of our community, of our individual health. So it’s only natural that for our dining room, we proudly source organic vegetables from local farms including Kerr Ranch, Mustard Seed Farms and Zorn Farms of the Willamette Valley. In fact, building on the success we’ve achieved so far, we’d like to work to create a network of local, family-owned farms to supply ever bigger percentages of the food we eat.

What’s so great about locally-sourced, naturally-grown food?

• Save fossil fuels in trucking in far-flung food – less pollution, improve the environment AND save on gas costs.
• Even if you don’t care about the “organic” label, it does result in fewer pesticides – in our food, in our groundwater, in our bodies.
• Keep our money local – and grow the network of small farms and businesses that make our country and community strong.
